Before Woodart Doors it was just Woodart and we built Residential and commercial .We have been a General Contractor since 1981 , lic. # 397123 in California .

Started Apprenticeship at Union #1147 Rosevile , California in 1971 three years with Sierra College , Wood Tech and in addition to Apprenticeship added Cabinet and Millwright for three years .1983 Architectural Drawing challenged requirements and made it to third level in 1983 at Sierra College , Rocklin , California . Learned from many professionals in the Industry over the years and still learn every day however have developed into a Master Craftsman .

Worked in the Building Industry as a Lead Carpenter Foreman for many Contractors in the Sacramento area , El Dorado County, Rancho Murrietta , Folsom , Rosevile and Contracted in South Lake Tahoe for thirty years with a better list go my Resume at http://linkedin.com jeff brownell artist

Originator of Design Bridge House near Hazel Ave , Fair Oaks Ca ,Resdidence won first place in California Architectural Award .However will be exploring the design over with real steel and Beams as Massive Trusses to hold a Building over a Ravine Counter weighted by Concrete . A bit like Frank Loyd Wrightish however not so Concrete originated , rather Large Douglas Fir Beams , Steel Plates and Bolts . Design stem from Rock Climbing in Yosemite and other ares in the Sierras . The love of heights was certainly a factor in the design . For the Decks to pertrude further out over and into the view over the expanse ." The Bridge House " .

Large Concrete Arches to stabalize rather than Steel Moment Frames provides substantial lateral rigidity

Concrete that is shaded provides substantial cooling of surrounding air before it enters the building .
